I’ve been turning wrenches since I was a teenager, and I opened DMS in 2020 because I was tired of seeing Indianapolis drivers get taken advantage of by shops that didn’t care.
My promise to every customer is simple: I won’t touch your car without calling you first. You’ll know exactly what’s wrong, what it costs, and why it matters — before we do anything.
We’re a small team, and that’s by design. When you drop off your car at DMS, you’re talking to the mechanic actually working on it. Not a service writer. Not a call center. Me, or one of my guys.

2020
DMS opens on S. Tibbs Ave
Dave opens the shop on the Indianapolis Westside with two bays, one lift, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Word spreads fast.
2021
First 500 customers
Within the first year DMS hits 500 vehicles repaired. No advertising — just referrals from happy customers. Google reviews start rolling in.
2022
Performance division launches
Dave starts offering ECU tuning and suspension builds. He builds his own race car and enters his first event. Performance becomes a second identity for the shop.
2023
Team expands
DMS brings on two more ASE certified techs to keep up with demand and expands its equipment for alignment, fabrication, and performance work.

Thousands of vehicles and counting
DMS is one of the Indianapolis Westside’s most trusted shops. Same values, bigger capabilities. Still owned and operated by Dave.
